Specialist, Finance Business Partner (m/w/d)

The Business Finance team consists of experienced Finance Business Partners for the Onshore Service Operations Central Europe. We are working from local offices in Hamburg and Vienna. We are focusing on Business Controlling and Finance Business Partnering to ensure that the Service Management is meeting their business targets.

Responsibilities:

• Holistic controlling/financial steering of service contracts incl. timely, accurate, and compliant month-end closing
• Preparation of financials for business reviews; continuous communication of business results to various stakeholders
• Prepare rolling forecasts and actual vs. plan comparisons; identification of deviations, and commentary on drivers
• Detailed cost control, financial support, and analyses for service contracts
• Analysis of financial risks and opportunities, saving potentials, cost-drivers, and counter measures/corrective actions
• Business Partnering incl. financial education of the Service stakeholders
• Participate in optimization and digitization projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, or equivalent education
• Minimum 5 years experience as Business and/or Project Controller or equivalent within an international environment and matrix organisation
• Business fluent in English; German is a plus
• Proficiency in using MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Solid expertise in SAP, S/4HANA, SAC, and BI systems; digitization/automation knowledge is a plus
• Ideally, experience in the (wind) energy industry and/or service business

• Ability to communicate in a clear and structured way, both written and verbally
