We are looking for a Sales Manager (f/m/d) based in Berlin or Hamburg to join the Sales Central Region. The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting sales and business development, especially in Germany, together with a team of highly motivated people.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leadership throughout the sales cycle: From prospect identification, tendering, and deal optimization to negotiation and closure of wind farm supply contracts
  • Establish solid customer relationships, build trust, and understand the customers´ business case to develop ideal value propositions
  • Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization and across group functions
  • Monitor and assess market trends and customer/competitor activities
  • Handle internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of Vestas commercial strategy

 

Qualifications

  • Master's in Business or Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as Sales manager or Commercial Project Manager in complex environments
  • Contract negotiation skills and experience with complex technical contracts
  • Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and English

  • Influence internal stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organisation
  • Financial understanding and investigative capabilities
