Then we have the position for you! Vestas is looking for a Material Handler for our team in Videbæk!

 

Service > Global Service Operations > Return Goods

 

Return Goods is a vital part of Vestas' Repair & Lifecycle Operations, playing a key role in ensuring the availability of refurbished wind turbine components. We receive, inspect, and categorize defective components from around the world, managing their flow to both internal and external repair partners. Our work directly supports Vestas' commitment to sustainability and efficient resource management. We are a collaborative team within a global organization, contributing to the renewable energy industry.

 

Responsibilities

 

At first, your main responsibility will be the practical and organized processing of returned wind turbine components. Over time, you will develop additional competencies, as your colleagues have done. This includes:

 

  • Unpacking and storing incoming and outgoing goods
  • Performing quality inspections of warehouse inventory
  • Registering component details in our systems and ensuring correct storage
  • Preparing components for shipment to repair facilities
  • Collaborating closely with internal and external partners
  • Contributing to general warehouse operations and ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
  • Developing skills to take on additional responsibilities

 

Qualifications

 

  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (such as SAP), are important for accurate recordkeeping and communication
  • A valid driver's license and forklift certificate (required)
  • Experience in warehouse operations or related fields, demonstrating practical skills and knowledge of logistics processes
  • Experience with shipping operations
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both Danish and English, written and spoken, to interact with colleagues and partners

Additional information

 

Your work location will be Videbæk, Denmark.
You could expect some travel activity, approximately 5 days per year.
