Being a leading manufacturer, seller, installer and service provider of wind turbines, Vestas has large fleets of offshore turbines. The Vestas service department is a professional service business unit currently servicing Offshore and Onshore wind farms.

In the Service Department, our focus is to provide our clients with high quality and best possible production of their wind power plants. With our long-standing comprehensive track record and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we maintain our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbine while upholding to our commitment to safety standards.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will join the team for the Baltic Power wind farm, consisting of 76 V236 15 MW, in the Baltic see. Baltic Power Project is the first offshore wind farm in Poland.
Based in the onshore office in Leba, Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of the windfarm on a rotational basis. You will become a part of an exciting journey for the new industry global turbine platform!
Your work location will be flexible within the first 1 year of appointment (or depending on the duration of the training period) on a rotational shift basis to acquire the skills for the specific offshore conditions. During this period, you will be expected to spend significant periods in Northern Europe as and when required. Your ultimate area of operations will be Łeba, where you are expected to be located. You will work in sifts system, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
 

Responsibilities

  • Compliance with Vestas Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
  • Responsibility for all offshore operations
  • Employee line management and development
  • Production planning and performance
  • Planning and execution of servicing and maintenance plans
  • Maintaining code of conduct, discipline, and culture on site
     

Qualifications

  • Electrical degree from a technical school/college/university
  • Good English skills in reading/writing
  • 5+ years of professional experience with electrical systems, onshore or offshore and with HV
  • 2+ years in similar position
  • Full driver's license
  • IT skills (preferred: SAP, MS Office)
