Senior Maintenance Manager  

Our maintenance department consists approximately 60 employees and supports a 24/7 manufacturing facility. This Senior Manager is responsible for managing the Maintenance department, overseeing all maintenance strategies, processes, and priorities to ensure optimal facility and equipment performance 

  

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and effective coordination across departments.   

  • Manage and develop maintenance personnel, including Team Leaders and Planners, through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management 

  • Partner with Technical Services and other functions on CAPEX projects, facility upgrades, and expansion initiatives, including capital budgeting and forecasting.   

  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs (TPM) and ensure effective use of EAM systems for planning, work orders, reporting, and performance metrics (including OEE).   

  • Manage service contracts, OEM relationships, and supplier agreements to optimize cost, uptime, and asset performance while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.   

  • Oversee maintenance inventory, tooling, and spare parts management, including consignment and leasing programs.   

  • Support facility safety systems (fire suppression, alarms, ERT coordination) and contribute to long term equipment and maintenance strategy.  

  

Requirements:   

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.   

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, including TPM, predictive maintenance, and KPI/financial management.   

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and Microsoft Project; ability to interpret schematics, 3D CAD drawings, and technical documents.   

  • Professional, able to manage own tasks, and effective in high-pressure environments 

  • Primary language requirement: English   

  • Spanish as a second language is preferred   

  

Competencies:   

  • Demonstrated leadership in complex, 24/7 operations with responsibility for multi-shift teams and equipment uptime 

  • Solid problem solving, communication, negotiation, and project management skills, including experience with capital budgeting and change implementation 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies for equipment reliability and performance optimization.   

  • Organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions in a structured environment 

 

Physical Demands:   

  • Read and follow work instructions in English and complete required documentation.   

  • Use hand and power tools; respond promptly to alarms and verbal directions.   

  • Wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, face shield, respirator, bump cap) for extended periods.   

  • Work safely with chemicals and materials per OSHA guidelines.   

  • Stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.   

  • Lift, push, or pull up to 45 lbs individually and up to 70 lbs as part of a team.   

  • Maintain adequate vision for close and distant tasks.  

  Salary  Range $115,000 - $135,000
