Vestas Factory

IT support of end-users working in offices and production facilities and daily maintenance of IT infrastructure. Participation in building and infrastructure projects as needed for specific sites. Ensure site is maintained and up to Vestas standards.

 

Responsibilities:

• Handle swap stocks for PC, tablets, mobile phones and take care of any reuse possible• Support IT needs for meeting rooms, printers, patching

• Create and maintain site specific documentation

• Install network devices and service on servers

• Regularly detect and report any issues with Infrastructure at local sites to ensure that sites assigned are setup and maintained according to Vestas Global standards

• Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and outsourced partners

* Qualifications

 

Education, Training, and Skills Required:

• IT Supporter or data technician or experience from a similar position.

• Experience with Windows client and server OS

• Experience working in global standard corporate client infrastructure environment

• Experience with network equipment, network patching fiber and RJ45 and bigger cabled and wireless HP/Cisco-network

• Familiar with server RAID disks and UPS systems

• Understanding of what it requires to work within a standardized centralized infrastructure regarding configuration/programs and keep documentation maintained.

• Experience with ITIL and knowledge of how to work in a production environment

• You know how documenting work in ticket system (Service-now) and you have experience with doing site documentation

• Motivated, take initiative and know how to combine this with the need of reactive support

• Service minded, good at establishing relationships and providing reliable customer support to both your local stakeholders and stakeholders in the IT organization.

• Communicating solutions to the end-users and you can communicate with IT architect, project managers, end users in production as well as management level.

• Documentation of technical solutions

• Ability to manage your own workload, take responsibility for operation and support as well as delivering as committed to the projects you are involved with.

 

Essential Functions:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to implement processes to efficiently conduct required administrative duties.

• Ability to manage database systems

• Respect for and ability to work with various cultures

• Regular and consistent attendance

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; ability to handle and sense objects by touch; reach and handle items; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Awareness of company safety focus in all activities, to avoid individual injuries and injuries to others. Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the duration of the task

 

Salary & Career Growth

We offer attractive pay packages, performance bonuses, and mentorship opportunities to support your professional development. Pay will depend on experience, education, and skill set. The salary range for this role is between $54,000 - 64,000 per year.
