Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning best in class Procurement function within the world's leading OEM for sustainable and renewable energy solutions. We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring and development. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Determine specifications and requirements for Maintenance & Repairing services to production equipment in manufacturing sites in NCE region 
  • Review, negotiate, and handle agreements with subcontractors and performance against the global / regional contracts
  • Be a representative of NCE region in global projects
  • Conduct RFI and RFP process in NCE region for vendors' selection
  • Handle the vendors' database to ensure contractual compliance and financial efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to the policies and processes

 

Qualifications 

  • 5 years’ experience working in a similar background
  • Relevant Educational background is required 
  • Experience within procurement of services from subcontractors
  • Experience in handling regional contracts 
  • Very good English both written and spoken is needed

 

Competencies 

  • Procurement Skills: Good negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills are necessary for successfully procuring services while optimizing costs and quality
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, and resolving issues that may arise during the procurement process
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The capacity to identify and address procurement challenges, such as supply chain disruptions or cost overruns, is important for maintaining operational continuity and minimizing risks
