Are you enthusiastic about the opportunity of working for the global leader in renewable energy? We are currently looking for an experienced HSE Coordinator Site support to join a multinational environment with colleagues that take care of each other.

 

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Regional HSE NCE> Offshore Construction Support NCE

NCE HSE Site Support Team is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Vestas Occupational Health and Safety policy at North Central Europe and offshore projects.
 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up IMS for each project and maintain quality reporting
  • Project specific HSE documentation support including spot check compliance to RAMS, if requested by Construction
  • Physical support site to improve the Project Safety Performance
  • Inspections on sites to ensure compliance with the local HSE Management System
  • Taproot(R) investigation according to Incident Investigation definitions
  • Participate in relevant TBTs and operational meetings on sites asking for support
  • When required, participate in meetings with clients and governmental bodies including assistance on legal compliance activities

 

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in Health, Safety and Environment in a production/construction/ Maritime environment
  • Experience with working in an international corporation
  • Have relevant HSE training or education
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
     

Competencies

  • We prefer proven experience in heavy lifting operations and related activities.
  • Proficient and skilled in TapRoot(R) Incident Investigation system.
  • Experience in implementing and enforcing HSE policies, processes, and instructions.
  • Have a good understanding for both onshore and maritime / offshore construction and energy areas including EU and HSE legislation.
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of COSHH/REACH for chemicals and the implementation of appropriate control processes.
  • GWO Basic Safety Training
  • Able to pass an approved offshore medical + Chester Step test or comparable
