Operating within the Northern and Central Europe business unit of Vestas Wind Systems, Vestas Celtic Wind Technology Ltd focuses exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating onshore wind power plants in UK and Ireland. With offices in Warrington and Dublin, the Service Department looks after the servicing and maintenance of wind turbines in the UK and Ireland.

The position of Project Lead works with a wide range of stakeholders in the UK, Ireland and elsewhere in Europe. This role will empower you to own and coordinate the delivery of Transactional Services for the UK/Ireland Onshore Services business.
 

Responsibilities

  • Engaging demonstrably with the Onshore UK/IE and North & West Europe Service organisations and supporting the business to recognise transactional services revenue and margin targets
  • Providing clarity at all levels of the organisation of the current performance and trajectory of delivery
  • Ensuring that there is an appropriate level of awareness with key stakeholders and articulate support needed
  • Mapping and embedding process into all stages of the value chain whilst developing a culture of accountability to create sustained change
  • Presenting accurate forecast projection vs MTD & YTD scale
  • Demonstrating sustainable improvements which prevent cost to contracts and generate additional transactional revenues
  • Through documented process and delegation, build accountability into the organisation to deliver timely offerings to our customers and billing of revenue

 
Qualifications

  • Project Management skills/experience 
  • Experience working in multicultural and international environmet
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Great English skills both written and writing
