Technical Planner

Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Technical and Commercial Planning 
The UK and Ireland service department with headquarters in Warrington is responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in UK and Ireland. The department has an open and informal culture where partnership and good communication are the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and future-oriented industry in a team with motivated employees.
 

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Technical analysis and preparation of service orders, providing technical solution for technicians
• Define resources needed for service orders, e.g. competencies, materials and tools
• Find technical documentation and safety documentation in Vestas database for technicians
• Daily communication with technicians, dispatchers, technical and customer group
• Continuous improvement, including proactive search for areas for improvement, as well as strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks
   

Qualifications

• Experience with technical planning, ideally obtained in a technical environment alternatively:o wind turbine technician
• newly qualified engineer (e.g., mechanical or electrical)
• Electrician in an established role with a focus on technical specifications, technical support
• Good IT skills, SAP/Salesforce experience is welcome
   

Competencies
We expect that you:

• General understanding of Wind turbine technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation
• Good communication skills both oral and in writing
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to daily tasks
• Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks
