Operating within the Vestas Northern & Central Europe business unit, we focus exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating wind power plants in UK and Ireland. With main offices in Dublin, Edinburgh and Warrington, Service UK and Ireland is responsible for the service and maintenance of our customers' wind power plants in both markets.

We are now looking for a Team Leader to support our Service operation in Cambridge. The position will report to the Service Manager, with responsibility for and delivering on our daily operations tasks within planned timeframes and agreed costs. 

  • Ensure safety & quality standards and processes are maintained.
  • Deliver daily operational performance to meet requirements of forecast and planning, with focus on cost and efficiency.
  • Delivery to commitments on turbine performance.
  • Continually implement change management in line with operations development.
  • Develop the skills and competencies necessary within your teams to meet operations tasks.
  • Responsibility for recruitment and leadership of local service technicians and hub support roles.
  • Team building, motivation and employee satisfaction & development.



  • High degree of Safety Awareness
  • Leadership and team member skills & behaviours
  • Solid spoken and written communication skills in English
  • SAP knowledge and hands-on experience is highly desired and MS Office suite knowledge - willingness to learn


We expect that you:

  • Flexible with the ability to encourage innovation 
  • Demonstrate ability to direct meetings/teams/projects with an organised and methodical approach
  • Proficient to prioritise and handle own workload in an efficient manner

Additional information
Your work location will be in Cambridge, GB. Your expected travel is up to 140 days per year.
