SBU NCE Service > Onshore North & West  > Great Britian
Working within the Great Britain Operations team and reporting to the GB Area Manager you will be holding a pivotal role in supporting our teams and customer in driving the performance and compliance of our windfarms within Vestas. The team is responsible for all field and planning operations within the region supporting our customers and our contractual obligations. Your responsibilities will be to support the teams improving the performance, project managing special activities and driving compliance across both the field operations and planning functions. This is a challenging department to work in as the business is currently experiencing extreme growth but what comes with that challenge are no two days being the same and the feeling of excitement and development all around you and the independence and opportunity to grow with that.

 

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support the business achieving operational compliance within dispatching and the field
  • Provide technical analytical support to the wider operations team with the use of relevant online tools
  • Identify and support improved performance activities and manage project roll out from initial inception through to completed execution
  • Interface between the field and the HSE department promoting a positive safety culture and highlighting opportunities for improvement
  • Support Area Manger with regional strategy delivery and governance
  • Working within PowerBi/SAP/Salesforce/Microsoft office
  • Create and develop technical performance improvement plans where required


Qualifications

  • Electrical or Mechanical qualification
  • Degree Qualified/ in relatable field
  • Project Management/Analytical demonstration 
  • Experience will be accepted as alternative ideally in Wind generation or equivalent electrical environment


Competencies
As a person, we believe you have/are:

  • Project Management/Change management experience
  • Practical understanding of field operations in a technical reactive environment
  • Adapt stakeholder management outside of direct management structure
  • Ability to collate complex information and communicate across wider business
  • Analytical experience to be able to manage qualitative and quantitative data to support direction focus and governance
  • Significant experience in wind or heavy construction industries
  • Proficient full Microsoft Package
