As a Regional P&C Business Partner based in Warrington, you will support the regional stakeholders and employees with HR related tasks across UK and Ireland region with focus on our Offshore activities and ensure that human resource operations are aligned with Vestas' business goals.

Responsibilities
As a trusted advisor it will be your responsibility to partner with leaders across UK and Ireland on People & Culture issues as part of organizational development, as well as coaching and supporting managers and employees in people matters on a daily basis. In addition, your responsibilities will include

  • Formulate convincing strategies by having an informed opinion about what the business needs to do, and at the same time being attuned to the human dimensions
  • Being a change agent that diagnoses systemic organizational issues, assist in setting the future agenda, and create plans for how to make change happen and stick
  • Continue the good relationship with local works councils and unions, including negotiations of agreements 
  • Ensure compliance to local legislation and policies and identify local areas of improvement
  • Update policies and other relevant documentation based on applicable laws and collective agreements 
  • Promote various People & Culture projects across the region 
  • Implement global People & Culture products, processes and solutions

 

Qualifications 

  • Solid Business Partnering or HR Manager experience. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience with labor law in the UK and Ireland. Experience from TUPE transfers. 
  • Significant business insight, with experience in presenting to and influencing business leaders
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Experience in designing and project supervising effective people programs
  • Solid English communication skills (either first language or fluent)
  • Proven skills in the operation and utilization software such as MS Office products

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify and implement appropriate solutions
  • Significant organisational skills, ability to prioritise many tasks and complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • A highly motivated professional who is able to work with a minimum of supervision
