Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO NCE > Regional Service HSE NCE
Health, Safety and Environment in NCE has the overall purpose of ensuring our factories, construction, and service have the support to ensure all employees come home safely. In scope also to decrease the overall impact on the Environment from our activities. 
We own the regional management system and ensure compliance with the Global management system and legal requirements in all of out countries. 
The successful candidate will report to the Head of HSE, Service, NCE but will have responsibility for the procedure governing lifting operations across Service, Construction and Manufacturing in Northern and Central Europe (NCE)
 

Responsibilities

  • Owner of the NCE Lifting Procedure and Appointed Person Responsible for lifting operations in NCE
  • Creating or reviewing lift plans for Service, Construction, and Manufacturing.
  • Implementing quality assurance program for vendor-supplied lifting operations, particularly in Onshore Construction
  • Advise all stakeholders on how to achieve compliance with the NCE lifting procedure
  • Ensuring the suitability of training provided to crane and hoist operators, slingers and AP's in line with Vestas and country-specific legal requirements
  • Ensuring the suitability of lifting equipment and accessories used for lifting operations.
  • Clarifying legislation, regulations, and codes of practice requirements that relate to basic, intermediate and complex lifting duties

 

Qualifications

  • CPCS A61 Appointed Person Blue card or equivalent qualification is needed for this role
  • At least 2 of the following 3:
  1. Experience as a slinger, banksman, rigger or crane operator
  2. Experience planning Offshore and/or Onshore construction or main component exchange
  3. Experience planning Service crane and hoist lifting operations


Competencies

  • The right candidate for this role has an attention to detail that is second to none as this role requires the creation of highly accurate and consistent documentation
  • Open to working with Matrix organization management. This role does not have direct reports, but will need to have an influential pull
  • Must have a sense of urgency for change and improvement and a proactive approach to HSE Risk management
