MVOW Offshore Wind UK ltd > Global Offshore > Main Component Exchange
The Main Component Exchange department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience when completing main component exchange projects for our customers, supporting service sites in executing special campaigns and internal project support within department.
The department is part of the Offshore Service organization in the Vestas NCE Region. Here you become part of a committed team of >500 colleagues who daily work on delivering Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational improvement, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Act as the main point of contact for day to day operations, providing indirect leadership to project teams and managing the operational portfolio
- Support offshore campaigns and jack up vessels to maintain continuous and effective operations
- Shape and implement project methodologies that ensure structured, repeatable processes and drive continuous improvement in component portfolio planning and execution
- Lead readiness for offshore campaigns by aligning global standards with local execution to ensure safe and effective operations
- Engage senior stakeholders and suppliers to ensure governance, compliance, and high performance delivery across global and regional projects
- Manage complex risk and governance frameworks while promoting cross functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Offshore Service function
- Build capability by leveraging technical, contractual, and commercial expertise to guide teams, mentor colleagues, and strengthen organizational maturity
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or similar technical discipline)
- 7-10 years of project management experience, including leading large-scale, cross-functional/multi-site projects with strategic impact
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with quality standards and assurance practices and general HSE knowledge and awareness (e.g., WTSR, CDM, etc)
- Exposure to complex governance, risk management, and contractual frameworks
- Proficiency in SAP PPM, Power BI, MS Project and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English
