EVP NCE > SBU NCE Construction & Operations > Installation & Commissioning 
You will be working closely with the Commercial Project Management Team, Site Managers and Appointed Person for Lifting Operations to ensure company processes are followed and coordinate project deliverables and key milestones.

As the Installation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the offshore installation activities and will be navigating amongst several stakeholders to ensure safe, high quality and timely execution. A typical work day in offshore wind is characterised by continuous change making for a very versatile and innovative work environment.

The Installation Project Manager effectively coordinates relationships with the Site Execution Team, the Customer, sub-contractors, suppliers as well as the commercial project team and other key stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective project planning and control via standardised workflow packages and work breakdown structures (WBS)
  • Implement and adhere to the Vestas management systems including the Vestas Construction Project Execution Manual, HSE and Quality standards
  • Support optimisation of the project programme and deliverables
  • Coordinate the implementation of new developed installation concepts
  • Planning and deployment of resources in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Monitor project progress, budget and performance on a continuous basis
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all reporting requirements are met on time and to the required quality

 

Qualifications

  • To be effective in this position it is important you have a good level of project management experience coupled with good leadership and communication competences
  • Hold a project management degree or equivalent however similar/other qualification levels are also encouraged to apply
  • In addition to the suitable educational levels we also expect you to have 3+ years of experience within an environment where Quality, Health, Safety and Environment disciplines played a significant role
  • Furthermore, experience in leadership of large-scale projects is a great advantage
  • You possess good IT skills working with Microsoft based platforms, SAP and coordination systems
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

Additional information
Primary Location: Warrington, GB.
You will be required to travel around - 90 days per year
