HSE Coordinator

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global QSE > Offshore HSE 
We are looking for two HSE Coordinators who will work as part of the HSE Pre-Assembly department advising Project and Site Management during Pre-Assembly in all matters related to HSE. As part of the position you will work closely with colleagues to ensure a constant focus on all HSE matters during the analysis, Pre-assembly, construction and execution phases. You will join a department that supports the entire value chain. As a staff function to Vestas Offshore Wind, the HSE department works widely in the entire organisation and the staff support in the daily Matrix organisation in their effort of Sales, Construction and Service Business.


Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the organisation has an in-depth safety culture 
  • Ensuring that projects and sites comply with the current conditions, rules and legalisations regarding environment and working environment 
  • Communicating to all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external 
  • Defining, building and being part of the sites setup for construction projects to ensure compliance with client requirements and deliverables 
  • Working effectively to ensure a high-quality safety culture and zero LTI targets 
  • Transfer knowledge from site to improve documentation and systems
  • Support HSE Team Leads in planning and implementing campaigns and proactive safety measures


Qualifications

  • Must hold a Formal HSE qualification such as NEBOSH
  • Must hold 3-5 years of experience with HSE coordination and management from the onshore/offshore wind industry, or another relevant industry
  • Must have experience with HSE risk management and HSE assurance such as safety audits and emergency response preparedness
  • Should be a flexible and a motivated collaborator, who approaches tasks in a structured and systematic way


Competencies

  • Should have good communication skills and the ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholder, internal and external
  • Be able to take ownership and responsibility of tasks
  • Possess good facilitator skills
  • Have auditor skills (preferred, not required)
  • Have good English skills

Additional Information
Primary work location: Open to various Vestas locations 
Part of this employment is working on rotation, so you should have a willingness for this. 
This position requires approximately 180 days of travel per year across sites internationally.
