NCE > Customer Project Execution > Contract Management Offshore North & West
  The Customer Project Execution Department oversees wind farm projects from inception to completion. Once a contract is signed, the team takes charge and remains responsible until final testing is done. Collaborating closely with logistics, procurement, and finance departments, they ensure the project stays on budget and on schedule while meeting safety and quality standards. Additionally, they work with the sales and legal departments to ensure each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield according to the client’s specifications.
 
Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive advice on commercial and contractual issues during the construction phase of new wind farms to ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and budget standards.
  • Offer direct contract management support to the Project Director, Project Manager, and other team members, ensuring alignment with legal and finance departments.
  • Oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of wind farm construction projects.
  • Review and advise on obligations under Turbine Supply Agreements, ensuring adherence to internal processes for correspondence and record-keeping.
  • Facilitate project risk management, maintain the project risk register, and contribute to overall risk management efforts.
  • Evaluate potential claim scenarios, manage claims-related activities, and draft formal claims correspondence.
  • Record and communicate contractual lessons learned to improve future contracts and attend necessary internal and external meetings.

 
Qualifications 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, economics, industrial and civil construction, or a related field.
  • Possesses a minimum of 4 years of experience in contracts or project management within the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of contract types and structures in the construction and energy sectors, with experience in power plant projects (FIDIC or EPCI experience is advantageous).
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • German language skills are advantageous.

Additional information
Primary work location: Warrington, UK or Haburg, DE.
This position requires up to 60 days travel per year.
