Region NCE > Customer Project Execution, NCE >  Onshore Execution Technical Support 

The NCE CPX QTM Execution Technical Support consists of engineers, specialists and project managers and enables Installation and commissioning to deliver on their scope to the best possible quality and reduces project risks by solving technical challenges, knowledge sharing, proactively engaging with Global CPX and VTO to ensure smooth introduction of new products and delivering improvement projects.

 

Responsibilities

As our new construction engineer you will;

  • Provide Solutions: Address and resolve tickets within your area of expertise efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts to find solutions for tickets that are beyond your current level of expertise
  • Communicate: Prepare and present relevant topics during monthly quality meetings to ensure continuous improvement
  • Support Internal Projects: Contribute to internal projects focused on new product implementation and engineering changes within your area of expertise
  • Lead Technical Meetings: Facilitate technical meetings with stakeholders to develop and communicate solutions to technical challenges
  • Visit sites: Provide onsite support as required to address and resolve technical issues
  • Continuous Learning: Proactively gain knowledge and experience within your area of expertise and document this in a personal development plan

 

Qualifications

To enable you to excel in this role you will need;

  • Bachelors or masters degree (or equivalent) in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energies or related)
  • 3 + years of experience in Wind turbine installation projects
  • GWO basic safety
  • Good communication skills and be fluent in the English language
  • To be Confident using applications like, MS Office, SAP, SharePoint etc

 

It will really help you in the role if you have knowledge and experience of one or more of the following;

  • Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Blades, Tools, Civil Engineering.
  • Project management experience

Additional Information

Work location: Warrington or Edinburgh, UK & Dublin, Ireland

This position requires up to 180 days travel per year.
