Project Implementation Manager

Supply Chain & Repair is part of Vestas' growing and dynamic Service Business Unit. We support the organisation by delivering repaired components. The repaired components are from both internal and external repair providers including down-tower, up-tower and on-site repairs.

 

The Global Repair Operation (GRO) department is responsible for all repaired products in Vestas and consist of Internal Repair shops in Denmark, Germany and India, and Repair Program Managers who are the interface between Sales Business Units, Global Procurement, Supply Chain and Service Solutions in terms of repairs. 

 

As our Project Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for implementing changes, new solutions and optimisations in GRO. You will have a lot of exposure to the organization through broad cooperation with many stakeholders throughout Service, Service Solutions and of course in Global Repair. You will be successful in this position when you are able to execute the tasks within the given time frame, agreed cost and quality.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive knowledge transfer projects to support customer needs, mitigate risks, and ensure efficient implementation in terms of potential, price and profitability
  • Develop and implement processes defined through customer needs, supply and location availability, vendors etc.
  • Stakeholder management with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Be a change agent and make implemented projects and solutions stick 
  • Identify and implement new repair processes throughout Vestas' regions  
     

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience within repairs, supply chain and/or sourcing.
  • A BSc or MSc degree within business administration, supply chain or similar combined with good technical understanding, preferably of wind turbines
  • 3 years project management experience and probably certified in Prince2, PMI or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to develop program structure, procedures/processes preferably in a global organisation 
  • Solid experience within the wind industry or similar industry is preferred
  • Comfortable with change management and able to understand costumer needs and requirements
  • Ability to manage and influence activities across multiple organisational levels and functions
  • Familiar with MS Office, SAP or another ERP system
  • Good understanding of business processes
