The Danish service department with headquarters in Videbeck is responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in Denmark. As a technical planner you will be in an interesting position because you are in the middle of the work order flow. You do all preparations that is to be executed in the field. As a technical planner you will be collaborating with a great many stakeholders in the organization with a great opportunity to grow.


Responsibilities
As a technical planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Define resources needed for service orders, e.g. competencies, materials and tools
  • Find technical documentation / work instructions for technicians
  • Technical analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians 
  • Daily communication with technicians, planners, technical and customer group
  • Continuous improvement, including proactive search for areas for improvement, as well as strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks

 

Qualifications
At the professional level, it is desired that you have:

  • Experience with technical planning, ideally obtained in a technical environment, for example: wind turbine technician, newly qualified engineer (e.g., mechanical or electrical) or Electrician in an established role with a focus on technical specifications, documentation and reporting
  • Preferably fluent skills in both Danish and English
  • Good IT skills, understanding of SAP and Salesforce
  • General understanding of WTG technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation

When it comes to personal qualities, we expect you to have:

  • Good communication skills both oral and in writing
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to daily tasks
  • Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks
  • Ability to change prioritization based on urgency and tasks based on business needs
