Take the lead in driving commercial success for one of the world's largest renewable energy service businesses. In this role, you will champion pricing strategy, commercial governance, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate growth, improve customer experience, and strengthen our market position across Northern and Central Europe.

 

Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > Transactional Sales Management
Aftermarket Sales supplies wind turbine owners and service providers with spare parts, maintenance and repairs to ensure the continuous operation of thousands of wind turbines in northern Europe. The team is developing an exciting growth plan through digitalization and customer service excellence and is now looking for a technically and commercially qualified leader to continue its journey to commercial success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial agenda for Parts & Repair sales across the Northern Central Europe (NCE) region, providing strategic guidance and coaching to T&M sales representatives to drive sustainable growth and profitability
  • Develop and execute regional commercial strategies covering quotations, pricing governance, contract negotiations, and Terms & Conditions to maximize revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction
  • Act as the regional subject matter expert on commercial excellence, identifying opportunities to optimize sales performance, improve win rates, and strengthen commercial processes
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Service, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance stakeholders to implement best practices and continuous business improvements
  • Identify, evaluate, and cultivate new business opportunities, supporting regional service teams in expanding market share and capturing additional profitable revenue streams
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics to provide commercial insights and influence regional growth strategies
  • Lead strategic customer discussions and support complex negotiations, ensuring commercially sound and customer-focused solutions

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Significant experience in aftermarket sales, commercial management, or business development of technical products and services
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies within the wind industry or comparable sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, or industrial manufacturing
  • Experience managing complex quotations, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial risk assessment
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional Northern European language (German, Dutch, Polish, or a Scandinavian language); additional language skills are considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience utilizing commercial KPIs, market intelligence, and customer insights to support decision-making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in SAP, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM platforms

Additional information
Work location: Vestas' office in Videbæk (DK) as main location but Vestas’ offices in Rheine/Husum/Hamburg (DE), Malmö (SE) and Szczecin (PL) are also considered.
This position requires approximately 30 days of travel yearly.
