Special Task Operation N&W, Vestas NCE is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Benelux, Baltic and Poland. The Special Task Operation department is responsible for coordinating the main component exchanges on wind turbines within the above-mentioned countries supporting our service regions.
Responsibilities
- Technical review of planned and unplanned work before work orders are released to the technicians
- Produce accurate technical documentation and work instructions from our internal systems for the technicians
- Define the resources needed for the different tasks regarding technicians, materials and tools
- Technical approval of the service order for completed work
- Monitor inventory and availability of materials
- Provide general technical guidance to the staff in the office and the technicians in the field
- General office tasks
Qualifications
- As a person you are/have - An understanding of and interest in new and high complex technology and diving into technical documentation and providing competent knowledge to support functions and our technology department
- Technical educational background within a relevant field from University or Vocational school
- Practical experience with technology, from work or leisure. Experience from wind industry is an advantage
- Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases/planning tools
- Fluency in English and Danish
- Work experience, e.g. in production, project management, or aftersales is an advantage as well as working with on-site execution
- Experience from managing small/medium size development projects to complex onsite repairs/exchanges
- Experience with Salesforce or SAP is an advantage
- An aptitude for numbers with the ability to analyse and identify various trends
