Region NCE > SBU NCE Service> Service Operation
Vestas North and Central Europe (NCE) is a Sales Business Unit that covers Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany as well as Eastern Europe and South Africa. We are responsible for the sales function, projects as well as installation and service of the wind farms in these regions. We aim to be the best performing business unit in Vestas, and we work every day to make Vestas NCE the best place to work.
The service department in Denmark is responsible for service, service sales and maintenance of wind turbines in the Nordic countries. Our department is busy, and a lot of new and exciting things are happening. In order to continue to be effective, we need a good service planner who can navigate an innovative environment with self-confidence and a structured approach to tasks. In the team, there is a good and friendly atmosphere with room for laughter and professional sparring. We have many irons in the fire and experience in our tasks through good cooperation in the team and in the department.
 
Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating the work of our service technicians out in the field – both short and long-term planning
• Assigning technicians to handle unforeseen faults on the turbines on a daily basis
• Ordering spare parts and tools for the service tasks
• Ensuring effective internal communication and good relationships with our internal stakeholders
• Setting task priorities within specified deadlines

 
Qualifications

• Education or work experience in similar areas within planning, coordination, administration or freight forwarding
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive setting
• Self-organization
• Remote team management knowledge
• Good knowledge of the English language
• System user of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce
• A technical understanding of the wind turbine industry will also be a good starting point for the position

• A good overview and the ability to keep a cool head in busy periods
• Works well with changing tasks and being able to prioritize between different tasks at the same time.
