Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) is a sales business unit covering the Nordic countries, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and the south of Africa. With our headquarters in Hamburg, we are responsible for the sales function, project, installation, and service of wind farms throughout these regions. Service Nordics department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of wind power plants in the region and we are now looking for a skilled Service Field Trainer/Lead Supervisor to join our team in Videbæk, Denmark. You will primarily be working on sites in Norway.


Responsibilities
You will as Service Field Trainer/Lead Supervisor be a role model in safety and conduct onsite turbine training of new Vestas service technicians and secondees. Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide high quality and consistent training in all processes involved when working in turbines and on sites, this on Service and Commissioning sites
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas safety rules, work procedures, and processes
  • Provide constructive feedback to trainees and responsible team leads, for learning improvements and leveling of competences
  • Collaboration with the Planning Department and Site Management to ensure best practice and training plans

Qualifications

  • A technical diploma/degree - e.g. electrical, mechanical, automation or electro-mechanical 
  • Experience with the wind industry is a plus
  • Experience in working with people in training situations
  • The right discipline and mentality to plan and organise your working day
  • A role model demonstrating a technical safety mindset and motivate the organisation towards continuous improvement in its safety culture 
  • Driver's license (B)

Competencies

  • Good communication skills and fluency in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Good collaboration skills, and an openminded attitude in a diverse culture
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Good IT skills and an experienced user of MS Office

Additional information
You will work out of our office in Videbæk, Denmark, but your main work location will be at sites in Norway. Approximately up to 180 days of traveling per year must be expected in a structured rotation of 16 days on-site and 12 days off.
