NCE > Service Commercial > Pre-owned sales


The Vestas Northern and Central Europe region is a major business unit within Vestas with responsibility for sales, projects, installation and service for the region’s wind farms and turbines. Pre-owned sales department plays a crucial role in offering refurbished turbines to meet customer needs. We are seeking a well-organized Sales manager who in the short term will be part of the Sales Management team located in Videbæk Denmark, actively contributing to sales activities within the NCE area. In the long term, the role is expected to take over the position as Head of Sales in Pre-owned NCE which is a part of a generational shift within the Pre-owned sales department.

 

Responsibilities 


The role as Sales Manager is crucial for overseeing and prioritizing multiple sales projects, ensuring they are finished promptly and effectively. The role will also heavily focus on developing and maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders and clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
In addition, the main responsibilities entail:

  • Evaluate the commercial contract negotiations and reviewing tender material
  • Develop bid, negotiation and commercial strategies
  • Gather and synthesize information from internal/external stakeholders to prepare project proposals for internal management approval
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while navigating an environment where some information may be limited
  • Provide customer service and support throughout the sales process
  • First point of contact for commercial issues and responsible for internal escalations

 

Qualifications

  •  Several years of experience in sales, particularly in managing large B2B contracts in the wind energy, EPCI offshore oil and gas, power plants, infrastructure, the construction industry, or similar
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration,
  • Project management experience
  • Skilled in long-cycle contract negotiation and closing skills
  • Background in a related field such as legal (FIDIC), technical, or commercial role 
  • Deep understanding of the commercial aspects of complex products and how they are translated into a contractual context
  • Proficiency in English at a negotiation level. Knowledge of another Scandinavia language is helpful

Additional information
