Region NCE > Service Commercial > Pre-owned operations
Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales and service business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, Germany, Benelux and Baltic countries. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. At Vestas Pre-Owned Turbines & Special Projects, NCE - we procure, refurbish, resell and reinstall used turbines across the NCE region. We offer a complete solution including supply of refurbished turbines, transportation to the site and installation, including commissioning and handover to Service.
In short, we are proudly contributing to the Circularity and Energy Sustainability to value the global challenges – by bringing used turbines into full new life cycle.
Responsibilities
Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope following the required safety and quality standards. Safety behavior and adherence to regulations and standards are imperative. In addition, your work scope responsibilities will cover to:
- Primaries liaise and supporting the Spare Part and ExW Sales team to ensure right configuration models to Customer
- Responsible for building a solid inventory overview of Special Tools and Transport Equipment (TEQ)
- Direct engagement with Customers throughout phases from sales to supply. Handle Customer reporting
- Understanding of the commercial aspects of products
- Oversee and maintain cost baselines monitoring the cash flow monthly/timely for your owned projects
- Standardize and improve existing governance model to improve the process efficiency
- Behave close Customer relationships during end-to-end phase of projects – stick to agreements
Qualifications
- Experience from the industry and knowledge of wind turbine functions and understanding operational project management of a technical nature
- Hold a project management certification such as Prince 2, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Ideal candidates have experience with software analysis tools Power BI, SAP, Salesforce and their techniques, including being open to use of M365 CoPilot Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Ability to read and understand contractual obligations in relation to Sales and Service
- Ready to read into technical documentations and drawings
- Very good knowledge of verbal and written English and Danish
- Hold a valid vehicle driving license
Competencies
- Project Management: Strong understanding of project execution management principles and methodologies. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Financial Acumen: Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis. Ability to monitor and control project costs effectively
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations. Keeping stakeholders informed and involved, ensuring transparency and trust
- Supporting Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement actions for process improvements
- Looking ahead: The ability to plan for onward development, set long-term goals
- Effective Communication: The ability to clearly convey information and expectations, listen actively, and foster open dialogue with stakeholders including direct negotiation communication with Customers
- Be a team member and build a cross-functional team toward a common goal
