Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > SOS North Project Management

 

SOS North Project Management serves as a strategic partner to regional operations, responsible for translating strategic vision into actionable outcomes and transforming concepts into clearly defined deliverables. The department secures operational excellence through providing high-quality portfolio and project management skills and services.

 

Responsibilities

 

As a Portfolio Manager, you will initiate, guide, and manage the selection, prioritization, and governance of projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. You will be responsible for providing visibility, control, and direction across the project portfolio to ensure effective value delivery.

 

  • Align Projects with Strategy - Ensure portfolio initiatives support organizational goals
  • Prioritize and Plan - Evaluate and prioritize projects based on value, risk, and resources
  • Monitor Performance - Track progress, budgets, and outcomes across the portfolio
  • Engage Stakeholders - Communicate with leadership and teams to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Manage Risks and Resources - Identify risks and optimize resource allocation across projects
  • Reporting & Communication - Provide clear, concise, and timely reporting to stakeholders

 

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PfMP(R) (Portfolio Management Professional), PMP(R), or PMI-ACP(R) are highly valued
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific of wind industry and its operational land scape

  • Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills - Aligns portfolio initiatives with long-term business objectives and enhances value creation. Interpret complex data to evaluate project performance and portfolio health
  • Decision-Making - Support decision making process by data analysis and insights
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management - Clearly conveys portfolio status, priorities, and trade-offs to diverse stakeholders. Establish a dialogue with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and engagement
  • Risk Management - Identifies, assesses, and mitigates portfolio-level risks and dependencies
  • Leadership - Guides project and program managers, encouraging collaboration and accountability
  • Financial Acumen - Understands budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and financial impact of portfolio decisions
  • Tool Proficiency - Skilled in portfolio management tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, MS Project, JIRA)

Additional information

 

Your primary work location will be Videbæk, Denmark.
You should expect some travel activity, approximately 50 days per year.
