One Tools Excellence is a department under the One Tool unit. We are responsible for continuously improving our operation with the explicit aim of reducing cost while securing on time and in full deliveries. Our specialists in forecasting and planning, SAP & system application, and lean methodology collaborate to find the best solution both in short and long term. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as one of two specialists dedicated to one of our two key customer segments: Service and Construction
  • Ensure forecasting and planning of tools for Construction projects, collaborating closely with colleagues in Construction, VTO and Procurement to provide warehouse planners with systems and processes to predict the right quantity and timing of tools
  • Maintain and develop the strategic 3-year forecast for tools related to new product introduction
  • Master the model we have developed that predicts the activity level per turbine type, you will be teaching your peers in the warehouse how it can be used to support planning and forecasting activities. Our next development will allow us to combine turbine type with the bill of tools to provide an itemized tools forecast. You will be a key contributor in the development of the bill of tools
  • Regularly assess the tools warehouse geographical footprint to ensure we have the optimal setup in terms of cost and delivery performance and remain aligned with our project pipeline
  • Analyse utilization of tools and proactively implement improvements to the planning process

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with forecasting and planning
  • Experience working with tools planning, preferable from CPX or Service
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders and visibility at senior management level (VP or above)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify critical elements in planning processes
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • International experience in a global multicultural environment is a plus
