Service Denmark is part of the Vestas Northern & Central Europe business unit, which focuses on selling, constructing, and operating onshore wind power plants. Service Denmark and Benelux operate under a unified management structure that oversees operational activities and customer relationships across both countries.
As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for a team of up to 30 Service Technicians working to operate and maintain over 900 wind turbines across Denmark. We are a collaborative and dedicated team looking for our next Field Supervisor to help us continue delivering on our contractual commitments, growing our business, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and coordinate the team while fostering a positive and effective work environment. To be the first point of contact for an assigned group of technicians
• Ensure the delivery of services in compliance with safety standards, quality, and performance targets. Ensure adherence to regional laws and regulations. Conduct safety walks
• Maintain compliance with Vestas standards across sites and tasks, ensuring continuous implementation of processes, procedures, and tools
• Approve technician absence and timesheets. Onboard and introduce new technicians
• Assist technicians with reporting system errors
• Manage warehouse inventory
• Support and participate in the implementation of LEAN and other optimization initiatives

Qualifications

• A degree in Business or equivalent. Technical knowledge will be appreciated
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in people management, including leading leaders, managing organizational change, and driving performance improvements
• Very good English and Danish both written and verbally
• Experience in managing budgets and economic responsibilities

• Proven ability to implement improvements and present effective business cases
• Ability to set direction and expectations to meet Vestas' quality, safety, and cost objectives while maintaining high standards
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and consistent messaging to customers and internal stakeholders
