Service Nordic is a business unit that belongs to Northern and Central Europe. In Service Nordic we operate in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. We are responsible for the sales function, project, installation and service of wind farms throughout the region. The ECC group works with electrical safety, control of dangerous energies and reports directly to the Service Director for North and West. The department's tasks include classifying technicians based on their competencies according to EN50110. Provide assistance when connecting high-voltage systems and maintain our LOTO program. The ECC group covers Denmark and Norway and is a critical part of Vestas' commitment to putting safety first. You will work closely with the Danish electrical safety manager in Videbæk to achieve our ambitious safety goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Electrical Safety Program in collaboration with the onsite manager / or service-related service team according to the Vestas Electrical Safety Program, EN50110 and other local standards
  • Single point of contact for the nominated Work Controller (WC) on site with competences to give professional electrical directives
  • Single point of contact for the Control of Hazardous Energy Program
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in Electrical Safety and Control of Hazardous Energy
  • Approves permits to work regarding electrical issues
  • Site visits and team trainings (LOTO audits, role model for electrical safety on site, gather information from technicians to improve the organization)
  • Maintain the documentation of the qualification for the technicians

 

Qualifications

  • Skilled electrical person; electrician, power supply electrician, automation electrician or equivalent
  • Experience with electrical safety and able to inspire others to create a good safety culture
  • Driver’s license, class B

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Videbæk, Denmark. You should expect some travel activity, approximately 50-80 days per year.
