Do you have experience working in technical support and enjoy the variety of tasks involved? Are you skilled at communicating technical information to different audiences? Then we have the position for you! Vestas is looking for a First Line Support Tech to our team Videbæk!
Service > Global Service Operations > Tools Region EMEA
Videbæk Warehouse is placed in On Tool Onshore that are a part of One Tool.
In the warehouse we do have two departments (Warehouse operations and Maintenance), both reporting to SCM for Videbæk. Position as 1 st Line Maintenance will be placed in the maintenance department but referring directly to the SCM.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to sites and warehouses with tasks such as; evaluate and categorize failures, requests, faults and errors. Monitor tools and update issue-handling documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis using tools like 8D, DMAIC, 5*WHY, PDCA
- Act on NCR's and ensure data is provided for NCR creation
- Document relevant support and inspection information and escalate unresolved technical issues for continuous improvement
- Prevent breakdowns and downtimes through proactive measures, ensure product and service enhancements through feedback and analysis, and maintain high standards of technical support and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Facilitate access to user manuals and technical drawings for maintenance execution
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge within electricity, mechanics and hydraulics
- Experience in technical documentation
- Education in mechanics, electricity or other relevant education
- Min. 2 years of experience in technical support
- Knowledge of Machine directive, OSHA and ASME

- Comfortable in social settings such as an openly seated workspace
- Interested in technical documentation and tools as well as to further develop their knowledge within these areas
- Knowledge of tools used for installation and service on Wind Turbines

Additional information
Your primary work location will be in Videbæk, Denmark.
You can expect some travel activity that can vary over the years, at most 25 days per year.
