The Service department is responsible for service, service sales, and maintenance of the wind turbines within the Nordic countries. We have an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are the key to our goals. We are looking for a Service Customer Manager to join our team in Vaasa, Finland. In this position, you will be a part of the continuously growing Nordic Service organization. 

 

Responsibilities 

As a member of the Customer Service Management team, you will be joining a team of motivated colleagues responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with customers based on partnership and terms included in service contracts to ensure both high customer satisfaction and supporting revenue growth. As the main Vestas contact for your customers, you will be responsible for the revenue of your own customer portfolio. You will create, build, and retain strong customer relationships and efficient internal collaboration resulting in high customer satisfaction as well as solid financial growth for both the customer and Vestas

 

Further your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Act on behalf of the customer internally within Vestas to ensure that we deliver on the customers' business case, which will include communication with the planning department, technicians, and others supporting functions and stakeholders 
  • Calculate and follow up on the cost and profitability of our service contracts and negotiate sales if additional services are requested 
  • Create and handle administrative routines with new and existing customers 
  • Participate in the handovers of new wind parks from sales and construction to ensure that all obligations in the contract are being identified and fulfilled before we take over in Service 
  • Handle daily communication with customers 

 

Qualifications 

  • A relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably combined with experience from commercial or legal position in similar or other global industries 
  • Good technical understanding or a keen interest in learning it
  • Skills in delivering on budget and ensuring a high-quality customer experience in a cost-efficient way 
  • Contractual knowledge combined with negotiating skills 
  • Professional skills in MS Office 
  • Professional verbal and written communication in English, good Finnish & Swedish language skills are a plus

 

Competencies 

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to understand our business and what creates value for our key account customers and Vestas  
  • A collaborative person with good people skills and a professional approach, since you will work with many stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Ability to get involved in technical and contractual issues 
  • Great communication and negotiation skills 
  • A well-organized and structured approach to your work 
  • Experience of using ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce)

Additional information: 

Travel: Limited, but occasional travel may be required. 

The position is based in Vaasa, Finland. We work in a hybrid model, and the role requires approximately three days per week at the office; fully remote arrangements are not available.
