Vestas Nacelles Deutschland GmbH is outstanding in the development, production, and repair of different types of wind turbine generators to generate sustainable energy solutions. The company is a division of Vestas Wind Systems A/S in Denmark. The Vestas Group is a globally established manufacturer of wind turbines.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Be responsible for Health & Safety and environmental issues in the production department to meet company and local government requirements
  • Take responsibility for quality control within the production process, coordinate related teams to support problem solving
  • Supervise & guide the production processing, ensure that production is according to specifications/PWIs
  • Execute production according to released orders and ensure the production plan is fulfilled.
  • Determine proper staffing and skill levels for the operations
  • Promote continuous improvements in the production process, therefore high quality & efficiency, and cost down can be sustained
  • Be responsible for production department budgeting and control production cost, decrease scrap rate and conduct reviews and generate reports to management regularly on manufacturing activities, performance, and results


Qualifications 

  • University degree (Bachelor / Master / Diploma) in engineering or equivalent or business with experience in engineering/production
  • Several years' work experience in a production environment understanding of production toolbox (e. g. LEAN methodologies, operational excellence, 6 Sigma)
  • Very good knowledge in MS Office, including presentations
