Regional NCE PE & TS department is part of the NCE Manufacturing organization, supporting the NCE regional factories as spear head organization in new product introduction (NPI) projects and as support function on more complex technical changes to the running production. The teams focus areas are generators, nacelles and hub production.
In NPI projects the regional PE & TS departments act as subject matter experts taking part in the development of both the product and the production. When a new product has reached a certain state of maturity it's handed over to the regional PE & TS team for further development and maturing the product and production processes before it's finally handed over to serial production.
During serial production the regional PE & TS team will also support on the technical side when larger issues in the factories arise and require more in depth electrical and mechanical support.
Part of the regional PE & TS team responsibilities are also technology transfers to other factories in the region but also world-wide, optimizing production setups via new technology and optimization solution transfers.
The department is primarily focusing on activities in NCE region but is interfacing in a global environment having production facilities across the globe, where support can be needed.
Responsibilities
Your tasks as a specialist will vary in complexity and nature but will keep focus on the below items:
- Subject matter expert in Generator NPI projects delivering tasks and activities at the agreed time, including participation in Generator Prototype activities
- Development of production setup and documentation including process flow, component allocation layout, and work instructions
- Specify special tooling and test equipment needed for production of the product
- Support the serial production regarding non-conformity, technical questions, automation and maturing the assembly process
Qualifications
- An engineering degree preferable within electrical field or other relevant education, combined with 3-5 years relevant experience within either design, production, or other relevant areas
- A good broad technical foundation, and the ability to pick up new knowledge fast
- A good understanding of complex organizational setups, to efficiently communicate with your colleagues and relevant stakeholders

Additionally, we expect that you:

- Like to work with complex engineering problems and have a creative approach to next steps
- Good communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing) German language skills are welcomed but are not required. We are a multi-cultural and global company, and international applicants are very welcome
