Real Estate Manager, Development

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

*Plan, control and direct internal and external land agent real estate activities such as lease acquisition and negotiation, ROW negotiation and other agreements needed

*Coordinate with Developers on land acquisition activities

*Oversee lease processing and work with land agents to obtain supporting documentation

*Complete monthly forecasting and reports and supports team members

*Work with GIS team and external land brokers to identify mapping needs and land status updates

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

* A minimum of 7-9 years' experience in acquisition of land agreements for energy projects. Wind and renewable experience optimal.

* Has in-depth know how in developing, negotiating, and executing complex real estate agreements.

* Working knowledge of chain of title, surface lease agreements, and title curative documents

Competencies:

*Ability to build relationships and interface effectively with cross-functional groups and external stakeholders

*Skilled in multi-Tasking and prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced work environment

*Tenacious and creative problem-solver who has strong negotiating skills and attention to detail

*Effectively communicates and has interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
