As a Site Manager, you will directly supervise the site management construction staff. The Manager of Site Construction is responsible for overall site construction management and delivering all projects safely.

 

Region APC>Construction & Operations APC> Installation & Commissioning 

Project Location: Wambo Wind Farm

Roster: 3 weeks on and 1 week off

 

Responsibilities
• Maintain site safety to required standards.
• Achieve contractual schedule
• Ensure achievement of highest quality levels on site.
• Provide clear direction for Vestas Site Management personnel. 
• Maintain a good working relationship with Client and Subcontractors (if applicable)
• Resourcing and staff management
• SMO portfolio site spend control
•  Professionally able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Troubleshooting.
• Team leadership, supervision, and management.

 

Qualifications

• Engineering / Trade/construction management qualifications 
• Minimum 5-10 years experience as a Construction Site Manager
• Wind Industry experience preferred
• Extensive experience leading large projects
• Advanced IT skills, e.g. MS Office, MS Project user or key use

 

Competencies
• Extensive experience in management of contract, safety, cost, time and quality
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• Commercial Acumen
