Responsibilities

 

  • Performance & Accountability
  • Own and deliver country-level operational and financial performance, including revenue, EBIT, availability, and cost control.
  • Provide structured oversight of site-level P&L delivery, ensuring Service Managers meet agreed targets.
  • Drive performance transparency through KPI management, reviews, and corrective action plansEnsure consistent execution of service contracts and operational commitments.

 

Leadership

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop Service Managers and their teams, building a high-performing and accountable organization.
  • Foster a culture aligned with Vestas values: Accountability, Collaboration, Simplicity, and Passion.
  • Strengthen leadership capability through continuous development, feedback, and succession planning.
  • Promote engagement and collaboration across offshore sites and support functions.

 

QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment)

 

  • Champion Vestas' "Safety First" mindset with a clear goal of zero accidents.
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas QHSE standards, local regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Drive proactive risk management, incident prevention, and learning culture.
  • Lead serious incident reviews and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all operational activities.

 

Operational Excellence

 

  • Optimize performance across all wind farms by leveraging best practices and standardization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turbine availability, reliability, and service efficiency.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve decision-making and operational outcomes.
  • Support implementation of digital tools and new service solutions.

 

Stakeholder Management

 

  • Act as the operational interface for key customers within the country.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers, regulators, and partners.
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.

 

Governance & Compliance

 

  • Ensure strong governance frameworks are in place across all sites.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Service Managers, holding them accountable for delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, contractual obligations, and audit requirements.
  • Provide clear and transparent reporting to senior leadership.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Extensive experience in offshore wind, energy, or heavy industry operations.
  • Proven track record in multi-site leadership and performance management.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing or influencing P&L delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership in QHSE and safety culture transformation.
  • Strengthen leadership capability through continuous development, feedback, and succession planning.
  • Promote engagement and collaboration across offshore sites and support functions.
