Construction is responsible for two types of project types; the standard installation, commissioning and finally handover wind farms to our customers and the more complex EPC projects. Working closely together with the customer, suppliers and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, cost efficient, timely and with a high-quality standard.

It will furthermore be your responsibility to align and sign off the project scope and cost with Sales and ensure that the wind turbine installation projects or EPC projects are planned and executed within the scope of the contract, within budget, on time, and in the right quality. Customer relationship management, quality and cost control, safety, risk/benefit assessment and leadership towards the complete project team are key functions in this role.


Position Purpose

To support Project Managers to deliver specified wind farm projects on time and budget, through accurate and timely reporting and project administration.


Key Accountabilities

• Assess financial and technical feasibility and put together a solution

• Timely project reporting

• Site Liaison and direction

• Accurate financial management of the project budget, cashflow and revenue

• Financial control and reporting, administration experience in complex project environments

• Prepare payment claims and raise each claim according to the reported cashflow and in accordance with the contract requirements

• Forecast cash inflows and outflows on a weekly basis with inputs from APM / PM

• Monitor the project budget to ensure all expenditures are within the allowance

• Forecast POC (conservatively) using the budget model with input from Project Manager and monitor on a monthly basis. Raise uncertainties as soon as foreseen

• Maintain builder and billing plan creation, milestone release for invoice & cash-in revision

• Create purchase orders for large items, manage component creation for as-built & intercompany invoice handling

• Work with the document controller to device communication plan & document control plan for the project

• Ensure timely submission of documents, letters & other submittals to the client

• Manage project release, ToR, classification of projects, handling spares & stocks & project close

• Ensure handover documentation is well prepared before the handover meeting

• Support site when needed



Bachelor's Degree – Business Administration / Commerce / Accounting or other related fields
