Responsibilities

• Tender and Project Operation management

• Oversee overall tender process, technical/commercial discussion, and submission of Onshore Turbine supply and supervise projects

• Communicate with various internal/extenral stakeholders

• Applying contractual obligations to client expectations, while upholding Vestas' contract position.

• Negotiate agreed outcomes to contract disputes, and finalise contract legals on project completion.

• Accurate and timely reporting to management and customers.

• Track transition from Sales to Project Management and to Service.

• Assess issues and risk, deliver resolutions.

• Ensure the project meets its targets.

• Determine, implement and analyse the project cost controls.

• Project progress reports, collated monthly and at milestones, variances to timeline and OH&S.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or business economics, MBA and professional license in Engineering is advantage

• Electrical engineering qualifications are preferred

• At least 8 years' experience managing projects

• High knowledge in planning software, preferably Primavera Planner (P6)

 

Language and other reuirements

• Business Japanese language skill with business level English.

• Currently withholds Japanese work permit. 

• Driving License in Japan is required

Additional information

Primary work location: Tokyo HQ Office. 5 days a week.
