Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including managing cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, local content supplier development, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management.

You will be part of our Blades commodity, and be responsible for managing external blade manufactures.

Responsibilities

• Will be handling the external manufacturing of blades suppliers which is located in both China and Morocco.
• Support localization for the suppliers by liaising with the commodity modules
• Look into annual cost optimisation and support with supplier with implementation
• Responsible for regional support of the commodity in the APAC region
• Supplier Account Manager (SAM) for defined suppliers
• Support defining the Commodity Strategy based on regional analysis and insight
• Continuosly provide the commodity team with detailed knowledge about suppliers and supplier market(s) from the geographical area.
• Support the commodity team with data collection and data analysis (Market analysis, Supplier identification, Footprint analysis etc)
• Participate or direct negotiations in accordance with the negotiation process.
• Responsible for selection, qualification, negotiation, contracting and integration of new suppliers to the extend agreed with the Purchasing Manager
• Mandated and obliged to agree/accept the Commodity Strategy on behalf of the region, and obligated to implement it accordingly in the region (at supplier level)
• Supplier Relationship: Establish and develop partnership with selected suppliers in order to gain competitive advantage for Vestas including KPI's
• Ensure the introduction of new parts with suppliers - ensure coordination and implementation in accordance with processes and main stakeholders from SCP, Logistics, QSE, Manufacturing etc.
• Adhere to Sourcing processes in accordance with global processes and standards.
• Work with cross function team to ensure the performance of KPI's

Qualifications

• We expect that you hold a bachelor degree in Engineering, or Economics & Business Administration. In addition to that we expect that:
• You have minimum 10 years of strategic purchase experience..
• You are a great communicator who are experienced in negotiating contracts on a high professional level in an industrial company
• You know English both verbally and in writing
• You are an experienced IT user (SAP and Microsoft Office)

• You are structured and systematic - you are great at making plans, prioritising and follow up with focus on quality
• You are used to changing according to the development in the company and in the department
