The Manufacturing Readiness Nacelle, Hub end Powertrain department focus on early product development until implementation into the factories, supporting all product platforms within the Nacelle, Hub and Powertrain areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integration with the mechanical designers and other key stakeholders in the product development departments
• Build the product and process prototype builds within the mechanical areas both at internal productions and at suppliers
• Be a part of the change management team in the product and process prototype builds with focus on the mechanical functions and assembly processes
• Manufacturing process mapping - current & future state - for all mechanical functions and assembly processes
• Identify critical and unknown processes as well as critical equipment's for mechanical assembly processes
• Estimation and planning of the mechanical related parts of the projects
• Review of mechanical product concepts and deliveries at gate passage

Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. within mechanical or production engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in related position
• Documented process and product knowledge，good project execution skills
• Have the ability to specify, lead and delegate tasks，enthusiastic and have a positive approach in your daily work，motivated by results and good at finding solutions to secure progress
• Work independency and possess ability to performs work under a minimum level of supervision
• Work well in a time-sensitive situation and make the right decisions based on facts
• Have the ability to work with multiple targets and stakeholders
• Have a very structured approach when you work with projects and concepts and you are capable of visualizing a complex solution.

Competencies

Process flow development, - You have the ability to create process flows at early product development. You understand the flow and setup of the facility, and to define all your deliveries through a process flow. This is a key delivery.

General Production Engineering Knowledge; - production concepts: agile manufacturing, lean Production.

Design for assembly; ability to understand criticality in assembly steps, able to see issues with assembly at an early design phase where design is still on paper.

Design for manufacturing; - Be able to analyze a component and simplify it.

Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis; - knowledge of methods will be a advantage
