Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities on wind farm and wind turbine Balance of Plant matters.
  • Develop and Coordinate EBOP Pre-calculation tool, Prepare EBOP Pre-calculations for contract negotiations related to farm substation maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Follow up with the Grid Code non-compliances and ensure the farm / turbine compliance when necessary.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors carrying out activities on the farm substation.
  • Develop upgrade solutions for second hand turbines which will keep them up to date and able to adopt with the latest grid code requirements.
  • Identify Local projects to reduce the cost of operation and improve site performance on the farm substation.
  • Collaborate with the ROS East and MENA Electrical and S/W engineers to resolve potential poor interaction matters between the wind turbines and the grid. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering degree.
  • 5 years of experience in the technical field, ideally with Substations, HV Power Cables, Overhead Power Lines, and Grid Compliance.
  • Experience in wind turbine compliance with the grid code.
  • Advanced English skills both in writing and speaking.

Additional Information

  • Fluent level of English is required as most communications and reporting is done in this language.
  • This position is based in Taranto, Italy and requires travel availability of 20%.
  • Knowledge on Grid Codes is mandatory.
