The Service and Construction Training Department delivers safety and technical training for technicians in the Vestas Service organization, customers and subcontractors.

As the Technical Trainer (Instructor) (f/m/d) you perform training for Vestas Technicians, Vestas Employees, Customers and Subcontractors.

This position is located in San Nicola di Melfi, Italy. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and conduct Technical and Safety training programs and develop and implement it for different target groups
  • Attend meetings regularly and participate in training-related discussions
  • Maintenance of training equipment
  • Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills
  • Mentor other instructors in the subject matter content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle
  • Continuously develop new competencies and knowledge on Vestas products, policies, and procedures to support training demand
  • Supports training administration by providing necessary reports for training completion.
  • Maintains personal development timelines in order to teach new courses

Qualifications

  • Background in Mechanic, Electronic, Electrical or any similar related background
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance on wind turbines or similar equipment
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position, from the wind energy industry, is valuable
  • Good ability to plan and organize in a classroom environment to ensure course outlines and milestones are met
  • High level of ability to verbally communicate complex concepts to a variety of people during a classroom or interactive presentation, including assessing and checking for understanding
  • Highly interested in conducting Technical Trainings and keen on teaching others
  • Fluency in English
  • Good MS-Office Skills
  • Driver's license - Class B

Additional information

This is a hybrid position based in San Nicola di Melfi, Italy and requires up to 20 days of travel per year.
