This position is part of the Supplier Quality NCE region located at Taranto, Italy Production Site to ensures the highest focus on quality, safety and environment, take an actions in case of any quality problem at production line related to purchase components by contacting suppliers and all Vestas stake holders to ensure that problem is solved and will not be repeated.

 

Responsibilities

You will ensure quality from suppliers for all production material groups used in Vestas Taranto site. The responsibilities are for NCR handling, analyzing and approve RCA provided by suppliers and Corrective Action implementation at supplier location. Driver down Cost of Poor Quality is important part of this position. Interface internally to the Regional and Global SQ&D, sourcing and logistics as well as external customers.

 

Qualifications

You have an engineering or material science background as well as proficiency in applying advanced quality methodology. Solid working experience with demonstrated quality management and problem-solving skills can replace the need for a formal education. Experience in Wind business will be big advantage.

 

Competencies

To perform well in this position, it is important that you are results-oriented and have good communication and collaboration skills enabling you to collaborate internally and work with suppliers.

We expect that you: - Have at least 3 years of experience within quality assurance and supplier management

- Are an internal auditor ISO 9001:2015 and/or assessor for VDA 6.3

- Experience with ISO 14001 / 45001 or similar standard for EHS Management Systems is desired.

- Are a Six Sigma Green Belt with Continuous improvement and DMAIC practice

- Have experience with stakeholder management as well as sound business understanding

- Collaborate effectively and perform well in a diverse, global work environment

- Are fluent in spoken and written English

What We Offer

 

The job position in question corresponds to level B2 pursuant to the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metalworking Companies (Federmeccanica). The gross annual salary expected for the candidate is a minimum of € 37,964.00, set by the current national and company collective bargaining agreement.
