The Technical Support department is responsible for the entire Product Process and of the Production lines present in the Vestas Blades Italia production plant. The department promotes a friendly, open culture in which collaboration and good communication are key. Responsibilities

Plan and direct the activities needed to deliver efficient, timely factory processes at the desired level. Translate production basis to local language.

• Responsible for setup of production processes according to the production strategy of Vestas Blades.• Responsible for cooperation with Maintenance technicians on maintenance of equipment in the production area to meet operational requirements and company values and image.

• Preparation and maintenance of necessary production documentation for correct manufacture of products.

• Provide technical support and training to production teams when required as it applies to production processes, documentation, and setup of production lines.

• Take responsibility for all issues related to production process issues.

• Identifying key potentials, and implementing action plans through reporting systems to improve production quality.

• Improve existing production processes to support continuous improvement on production lines, and make it more robust.

• Cooperation with Production Quality Department, supporting cross-plant system issues that impact overall compliance.

• Cooperation with MAN-Blades, PE team, Technology team to secure knowledge and understanding of production strategy.

• Interface to cooperate with Manufacturing Tools & Equipment department, secure knowledge and understanding of production strategy.

• Provide timely support to all shifts defined by project needs, production schedule, and production processes issues.

• Handling change control of process areas, procedures in the factory. Working on routings, item warehouse, and item process.

• Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Master's degree (5-year program) in Engineering, with a focus on manufacturing, mechanical, or materials engineering related to blade production

 

Competencies

Required:

Ability to remain focused and professional under tight deadlines Proficiency in Italian, both written and spoken

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Solid understanding of quality processes, methodologies, and reporting practices

Well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Effective verbal and written communication abilities, along with a team-oriented mindset

 

Previous experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or production environments is highly appreciated

Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis)

Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards

Experience with ERP or quality management systems (e.g., SAP, QMS platforms)

The job position in question corresponds to level B2 pursuant to the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metalworking Companies (Federmeccanica). The gross annual salary expected for the candidate is a minimum of € 37,592.00, set by the current national and company collective bargaining agreement.
