The Taranto site is where we have out most proven technologies and will be introducing our most complex new products in the future. As such our team here is working diligently towards ensuring our customers are receiving safe and quality proven products on-time. Our footprint in Taranto has served Vestas for 25 years and will continue to do so going forward. The logistics department is a part of our operations in Taranto and ensures our inbound, receiving, warehousing, delivery internally, planning, outbound delivery, stock counting and our optimal use of all equipments related to this.

Responsibilities:

As logistics manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading according to our Vestas values and behaviors - Safety & Quality Culture is sustained
• Conduct Safety and Quality walks daily/weekly
• Ensure full End-to-End deliveries are according to plans and aligned to customer needs
• On-time ordering (OTO)
• All planning on-site daily/weekly/monthly and annually
• Followup on On time delivery (OTD)
• Stock count
• Staffing plan in logistics to ensure that we are able to serve productions and deliveries
• Daily/weekly/annual planing is done correctly and followup on
• Followup on half yearly employee surveys and activities to develop own organization even more

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree
• +8 year industrial experience
• Worked in logistics before at manager level
• Has a reputation for effective team leadership
• Fluent speaker in English and Italian

Competencies

• People manager with a high level of open communication skills
• Must know the MS office suite and how to navigate in this
• Knowledge of SAP
