The Construction department is in charge of the construction of wind projects (EPC) and installation and commissioning of the wind turbines (supply & installation) under contracts sold by the sales department.    
 
Responsibilities:  

• Implementation of Vestas HSE rules & programs both internally and towards subcontractors

• Implementation of site specific Vestas Quality Control Plan fulfilling general Vestas quality Systems toward subcontractor

• Assure first notification of non-conformity to site manager to guarantee all necessary actions are taken to solve the identified problems

• Perform cross-inspection with subcontractor on installed turbines in order to verify correct application of work instructions and quality specifications

• Supervises registration of performed activities on the Installation Service Inspection Forms (SIF's) according to Vestas Quality standards

• Coordinate with transport and sub-contractors on delivery schedule

• Monitor Subcontractor team numbers sufficient for execution

• Daily supervision and progressing of installation activities performed by external resources ensuring the fulfillment of project execution (health, safety, quality and time) and contractual obligations by subcontractor

• Perform initial inventory of received goods and materials (tools, site parts, consumables) and hand-over to subcontractor. Ensure Tools good working order with current calibration certificate.

• Perform final inventory of the equipment and parts after completion of site works

• Supervise installation in compliance with Vestas installation manual and technical specifications

Qualifications:  

• Advanced IT skills, e.g. MS Office, MS Project user or key user.

• 3-5 years' experience within the installation or construction of wind farms.

• Fluent in English and Italian language.

• Willing to work in projects all over Europe/worldwide

Competencies:

• Solid organization skills.

• Attention to details.

Additional information:  

• This position is based in Taranto

• Fluency in English and Italian is required as most of the work and reporting is done in these languages.
