HSE Specialist- Taranto

We are looking for a HSE Specialist  to join our department in Taranto

 Regional MED > South Europe

The Blades site in Taranto will be introducing our newest blade technology during the coming years to ensure a continued conversion to more sustainable energy globally. We consist of more than 700 employees preparing to ramp up further to be able to deliver in the coming years. Our HSE Department consists of 5 employees supporting our ability to develop our HSE Culture on site and ensure correct followup, implementation and development in methods and know-how.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of agreed HSE business plan and tasks according to the agreed operational agreement implementation projects HSE standards, processes and tools

• Identify best practice from similar industries and develop further to suit Vestas need

• Ensure local implementation of Global HSE standards, processes, programs and tools based on best practice and customer/business needs and promote the implementation, including development of training and communication materials

• Contribute to Identification, development and set up of local HSE targets and leading/lagging indicators for the specific HSE standards, processes and tools

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in similar position

• Master degree on HSE area will be an asset

• Good English & Italian skills

• International exposure is essential

• Expert in national and international HSE legislation & auditor preferred within one of the below: ISO 45001, ISO 14001 ,ISO 18001 or ISO 9001

• Ability to seamlessly work across a global organization
