Join Vestas and become part of the Training Department at our Taranto factory, playing a key role in ensuring effective, standardized, and high‑quality training of factory operators. Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical and training reference on the shop floor for the assigned manufacturing area.
  • Conduct onboarding, basic, and introductory training for both blue‑collar and white‑collar employees.
  • Organize and support Process Instructors with job‑specific process and tooling training on the shop floor.
  • Ensure operators achieve and maintain required competence levels (up to Level 3) and that Process Instructors maintain Level 4 competence in their respective areas.
  • Maintain and manage training competence records within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ensure HSE, quality, workmanship, and 5S standards are embedded in all training and on‑the‑job support activities.
  • Develop, update, and localize training materials, and provide structured feedback to improve global course content.
  • Ensure effective visual management of training status through training boards.
  • Monitor and support the achievement of training KPIs, providing statistics and reports for the assigned manufacturing area.
  • Collaborate closely with Production Engineering on the development and maintenance of training documentation.
  • Support technical transfer and New Product Introduction (NPI) training activities.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials, methods, and equipment.
  • Mentor Process Instructors and support competency assessments in line with Vestas standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good level of English language proficiency.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety, quality, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with or exposure to digital training tools and learning equipment.
  • Ability to work in compliance with Vestas Manufacturing and Quality Management Systems.
